Hametown Baptist Church is a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church family in Norton, Ohio. For decades we have gathered to worship the Lord, preach His Word, and care for one another as a family of faith.
Everything we do — our preaching, our prayer, our fellowship, and our ministry to children and youth — is centered on knowing Christ and making Him known. We’d love to help you discover the truth, find hope in the gospel, and grow into all God created you to be.

A Ministry of the Word of God
We preach only from the treasure of God’s Word.

We receive prayer requests from the congregation on Sunday mornings and have prayer meetings on Sunday nights.

We love our worship team & special music from the brethren. Scripture songs are an intricate part of our worship.

A Ministry of Biblical Fellowship
We gather in joy and in unity as a family. Our talk and walk is based in God’s Word. We study in Small Group Home Studies.

A Mission-Minded Ministry
We support well-grounded missionaries both home and abroad. We strive to support national missionaries who know the language and customs of their people.

Our children are fed by solid believers who allow the Spirit of God to guide their lessons from CEF materials.

We provide social interaction and training through our youth group, sunday school, and Christian school program.

We evangelize the area through Good News Clubs, Fair Ministry, & door to door visitation. We visit the widows and afflicted.

A Discipleship Ministry
We strongly engage in one-on-one discipleship training using Thoroughly Furnished, a discipleship program we developed which is available on the Internet.

A Christian School Ministry
Hametown Christian Academy has high academic standards and has been established for over 40 years. We use the individualized Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.
