The Holy Bible is not merely a book that contains the Word of God. It is the very Word of God.

We believe the Holy Bible, the sixty-six books from Genesis to Revelation, was written by men supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is truth without any admixture of error for its matter, and is therefore preserved, and shall remain to the end of the age, as the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man.

By inspiration we mean that holy men of old were moved by the Holy Spirit in such a definite way that their writings are both verbally and visually inspired, free from error as no other writings have ever been or ever will be.

By preservation we believe the Lord has divinely guided His Word from Antioch, through the lineage of the Byzantine Text, into the Textus Receptus, and into the English language, and specifically into the 1611 and later the 1769 King James Version. We therefore use the King James Bible in our teaching and preaching, both for its consistent lineage and for centuries of proven accuracy, authenticity, and power.

Scripture is the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions must be tried.
